Hi Dear Support team,
I'd like to update the Purchase Date of my AirpPods Pro, but the system is not letting me to do so and when I've tried an older date it worked, but the data is not right. The device should be still under the coverage.
Please check what might be wrong and let me know.

iOS Safari iCloud Tab bug still not fixed…
You all know the bug - Safari tabs apparently open on Mac Safari showing in iOS which reappear if any attempt is made to delete. I logged this with support a few months ago. What followed was several calls & various attempts to fix by the "engineers" over 3 weeks. Finally I was told that this is a known issue that would be fixed in an update....... I'm still waiting!

Battary percentage reduced within 5 month…
Really it's so bad since it's just a 5 month my phone Battary percentage got reduced to 98% please suggest any idea how to fix this?
Answer:
In five months, it would be more normal for Battery Health to have reduced 5%. Would you prefer that over a mere 2%? A 1 - 2% reduction in Battery Health is normal and expected.
There is nothing bad going on. Batteries are consumable parts. With every full battery charge, Battery Health will decline little by little. It's what batteries do. ALL BATTERIES.
Stop worrying over something completely normal and expected. You are clearly doing the right things if you have only lost 2% in 5 months.

Macbook Pro 2011 Doesn't Boot up / Black …
So beside the SSD Being a bit full my Macbook Pro has been running in excellent conditions on a day to day basis.
Last week randomly working with her she goes black. I proceeded to do all existing Resets from Apple and various forum. Before I couldn't hear her restart since the speakers where off but after resets I could, letting me understand that such procedures were taking effect. Since she is 10 yrs old and far from her guaranteed I proceeded to disconnecting the internal battery.
She finally boot up to a message
"An unexpected Internal error has occurred" or something of the sort.
I continued on and she went dark and restarted to the same Unexpected Shutdown Error 3 times. Between boot ups I was trying to quickly get the important work folders into an External Hard Disk. But the time from Boot up to the msg was too low and I couldn't continue browsing her without bypassing the Unexpected error message.
Because of work I went and bought a new one but 2 days later I-tried opening the MacbookPro to see if there was some ember of life and she was on her Disk Utility / Time Back Up screen . I proceeded to run the first aid and got the repaired fine message. As I click restart she went dark again to hear her chime twice and a new Black Display faded Error message.
I give up and 2 days later(today) I open her up and she is into the Time Machine Back up display again with the Running on low battery message. I proceed to do time back up but 2/3 of my external don't have hers. I tried changing to another mode u can access from booting off in another external disk and was unable to reach the previous utility menu back and was forced to restart.
My question is I saw that I can access the terminal in those display. Is there a way from me to write a command to save a back up of the disk into an external
so I can access it from another computer?
Even tho I have everything of importance in my iCloud I did have important information from the current week that wasn't backed up.
Thanks in advance.
(Messy screen I know this is the Macbook that came with the Retina display call back that would get foggy and not clean up + she is an on site computer so a lot of dirty hands touch her)

How much of that 32 GBs is left on your iPad?
Answer:
A little hard to help/advise you when you provide NO information about your iPad.
Here are my questions to you.
Can you, please, confirm what year and model iPad do you have/own?
The "A" model number can be found on the aluminium back of your iPad, in very small print, right under the larger bold print "iPad" on the back of the iPad.
What iOS/iPadOS version is this iPad, currently, running?
What is the rated, internal data storage space/capacity of your iPad model and how much of this free, internal data storage capacity is left inside of your iPad model?
All of that additional info can be found in the Settings app, General settings panel, About.
Please try to attempt to answer all questions asked.
Thank You.
Answer:
Software version 14.7.1
Model name iPad 6th generation
Model number MR7F2LL/A
Serial number DMQXFPBMJF8J
Storage 32GB
Answer:
Your iPad is capable of update to a iPadOS15. These support pages outline both the available methods by which the update can be performed - and troubleshooting should you experience difficulties:
Update your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch – Apple Support
If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won't update - Apple Support
iOS update and restore errors – Apple Support
If you encounter difficulties updating from iPad settings, you may need to use a computer to perform the update. To do so, you will need access to either a PC (with iTunes installed) or a Mac (with iTunes or Finder - as appropriate for the installed version of MacOS). Ensure that your installed version of iTunes has been updated to the most recent version; the essential device drivers are included.
Download and use iTunes for Windows – Apple Support
Update to the latest version of iTunes – Apple Support
Update software on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch in iTunes on PC - Apple Support
You should note that for your iPad to install an available update, its battery must be charged to at least 50% capacity - and/or be connected to its Power Adapter. Similarly, the iPad can only be updated over a standard WiFi connection - or be updated by a PC or Mac using iTunes or Finder - over a USB connection.
Answer:
How much of that 32 GBs is left on your iPad?
Answer:
29.5 used
Answer:
That iPad IS BEYOND FULL of data!
You should never, ever, EVER fill up ANY computer or computing device completely full of data! EVER!
A 32 GBs storage iPad starts out with approx 30 GBs.,after initial internal flash drive formatting.
Minus approx. 6.5 GBs for iOS/iPadOS leaves between 23-24 GBs.
Minus 3-6GBs, for iOS/iPadOS system operational reserve, that MUST BE MAINTAINED AT ALL TIMES, to ensure/insure normal, expected operation of iOS/iPad OS, leaves approx. between 18-20 GBs of actual, usable data storage space.
Even with 20 GBs of actual, usable internal data storage space in an Apple iOS/iPadOS device,
a 32 GBs data storage devices are, now, more quickly, becoming the "new" low storage 16 GBs internal data storage space devices, today, a 32 GBs Apple iOS/iPadOS device has 3-4 times the internal data storage space of older base model, low internal data storage,16 GBs. internal data storage Apple iOS/iPadOS devices.
In reality and in use, in 2021, a 32 GBs internal data storage device is kind of a joke and of limited usefulness, when up to 2TB of internal data storage ( approx. 1.8 TBs or usable internal data storage ) portable tablet devices exist today.
Purchasing a low storage Apple device, to save on the cost of the device, is a false economy.
ALL of the above stated.
You need to free up quite a bit of free, internal data storage space on an iPad.
You need to start by backing up your iPad to either Apple's iCloud ( you may need to pay for additional, monthly storage space ) or by connecting your iDevice to a computer running the latest iTunes or, if a newer Mac with a much newer macOS, use the macOS Finder to do the device backup and/or some other offsite, "cloud" data storage/backup services, like Google Drive/Photos, BOX, DropBox, Amazon Cloud Drive, Flickr ( for photos/images ), etc.
You need to recover, AT LEAST, 12-15 GBs of free, internal data storage space!
At least 12 GBs. Recovering more free internal data storage space is always better and desirable.
Yes, you need to recover that much free, internal data storage space on that low data storage, 32 GBs iPad.
Then, delete any installed apps that you no longer use or use infrequently enough that they aren't missed (you can always reinstalled any purchased or free apps at some time later, as you need them).
In addition, uninstall any games that appear to be using a sizable chunk of your iPad's internal storage, as well!
Then, thin out/delete any music/videos/movies/TV shows/podcasts/screen recordings/photos-images/eBooks/
eMagazine/iBooks/audio books/Documents/PDFs, etc.
If you use a POP email account on your iPad, delete/thin out any old saved emails that maybe saved to your iPad.
To permanently delete photos/images off of your iDevice go into the Photos app and find the Recently Deleted folder/album and permanently delete any photos/images stored in that folder/album.
Also, you can check to see what other stuff is eating up all your valuable data storage space by going into the Settings App,,General Settings Panel, in the right hand column, tap Storage & iCloud usage panel ( in iOS 11 and later, it's now called iPad Storage ), in the top Storage Panel, tap the Manage Storage panel, wait for a list of apps to generate that will tell you how much space each app is taking up on your iDevice.
Then, for older iPad models with a Home button, do a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons.
ALL iOS/iPadOS devices need to maintain, at the very least, a minimum of between 3-6 GBs of free data storage space, AT ALL TIMES, to insure normal/nominal functionalities/operation and general overall performance of any iOS device running iOS/iPadOS.
Good Luck!

iTunes version 12.12.0.6 only works on En…
As several people (including myself) are currently discussing, the latest iTunes for Windows, version 12.12.0.6, often crashes on startup complaining about missing required files; this only happens with the latest version, and it has been suggested as a temporary fix to install an older one.
After a lot of investigation, it has been discovered that this is a language-related bug: it only happens on non-english systems (Italian and German have been tested); if the Windows UI is in English, iTunes works correctly.
Also, this is specifically related to the Windows UI language: regional settings such as time/date format and keyboard layout don't change the outcome, and selecting any language for iTunes itself during the iTunes setup doesn't affect the issue.
Hope this helps in finding and fixing the bug.
Answer:
The problem has been fixed in the current iTunes release (12.12.1.1).

Additionally, Korean doesn't work either.

Note that it's English (United States) that is specifically required as well. The other versions of English also don't work. I have English (United Kingdom) and that won't load either, giving the same error message. I've switched my Win10 20H2 build to English (United States) and am now back in business with this as a workaround until Apple fix this problem and I can switch my language back.
Answer:
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
This bug seems to affect all Windows languages which are not en-US (English - United States), including all English language variants (such as en-UK).
I have personally reported the bug to Apple Support, but there is really nothing else we can do until they fix it.
If you are in a hurry to get iTunes working on your system, you need to switch your Windows UI language to en-US; nothing else will work at the moment.

Answer:
Great work in finding this out. Can I just ask though? I am in the (UK) and have this error. Could it be that it only works for Windows UI English US? I assume this isn't something a user can easily change themselves ?
Answer:
This is possible, I have not tested En-UK. It could be it only works with En-US.
Changing the regional settings is easy, but this seems to be caused by the actual Windows UI language, which can only be changed by installing a language pack.
Answer:
Thank you, guess I won't fiddle with anything. Don't want any other side effects. Apple needs to get a new release ASAP.
Answer:
Ciao Massimo, esiste una soluzione a parte cambiare la lingua di sistema? C'è da aspettare un fix da parte di Apple? Grazie
Answer:
Hello bigklo, at the moment there doesn't seem to be any solution. Changing regional settings only is useless, the issue is caused specifically by the Windows UI language. It really seems to be a bug, thus we can only wait for Apple to fix it.

Why my battery health is reducing very fa…
My battery life is reduced to 93% within 4,5 months. What is the reason behind that??
Answer:
When was the phone bought new?
Answer:
A 1 - 2% reduction in Battery Health is not unusual. If your Battery has reduced by 7% in 5 months, your battery is doing what can be expected. Batteries are consumable parts. With every full cycle charge, Battery Health will decline little by little depending on your personal use and charge cycles. There is no way to stop Battery Health declining. Its what batteries do. ALL BATTERIES.
There are things you can and should do to maximize battery performance:
- Never let the battery fully deplete
- Don't let it get below 20% if possible
- Plug your phone in to charge when you go to bed at night and leave it plugged in all night every night
- Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health and make sure Optimized Battery Charging is turned on
- Read this link --> Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple
- Finally, stop worrying about Battery Health. When your Battery Health dips below 80% (you are long from there), it will then be time to pay Apple to replace the battery in your phone.

I's not as simple as "scanning an image of your current license" … you can do that with Notes today.
So, I'm not holding my breath waiting for my own state to implement it. YMMV. (Remember the still-ongoing fiasco trying to get states to implement RealID ?)

Good day folks, I upgraded to IOS 15 on my iPad Pro 11" 3rd generation yesterday and found a new feature that in my usage is a pain in the rump.
I have used the bottom right Swipe Up for years to either close or open new pages.
Apple has embedded a Swipe Up from the the bottom right corner to open Notes! Is there anyway to disable this?
I have not been able to find a solution to change or disable this feature. Help! Thanks in advance.

How can I update my iPhone
I want to update my iPhone to iOS 15
Answer:
To update your iPhone, open settings, press general, then press software update. This is a really great update for your iPhone, and I highly recommend it. But if you have an iPad, I don't recommend updating because it changes the Home Screen layout that you have, and it puts weird spaces between the apps and the edges of the screen.
but I do still recommend it for your iPhone.
and when you get to the software update page, then you have the option to stay on iOS 14 and get the latest security, or at the bottom you can chose to update to iOS 15.
